The Inner Voice

Many people were taught that there were two voices running through their minds, the voice of evil and the voice of good. The struggle then becomes a constant battle to decide which voice to listen to. One philosophy states that the one we feed the most is the one that will win. But, perhaps underneath these voices that clamor for attention is the quiet voice of The Divine that waits for us to still ourselves so that it may be heard. We can hear it no matter what is going on around us if we will but choose to do so. Today, let every voice except that of your Higher Power be silenced.
